In the words of Nova Spivack, we are approaching The Sharepocalypse. The real-time Web sounded like a great idea, but it has become impossible to manage. The success of social media has proven, ironically, to be its biggest challenge. The services we already use are getting busier, and whole new networks are popping up all the time. Email used to be the only problem. Today, the info streams are legion.
It’s hard enough being a normal user, but some have millions of people tweeting at them! How are they supposed to process all those messages? In the Information Age, you’d think more data would be a good thing, but on the social Web, the opposite is true. But the aforementioned Nova Spivack - along with co-founder Dominiek ter Heide - has just unveiled Bottlenose, and it could be the tool that helps us avert The Sharepocalypse in the nick of time.
Inspiration awakens us to new possibilities by allowing us to transcend our ordinary experiences and limitations. Inspiration propels a person from apathy to possibility, and transforms the way we perceive our own capabilities
Psychologists Todd M. Thrash and Andrew J. Elliot have noted these core aspects of inspiration: evocation, transcendence, and approach motivation
They found that inspired people were more open to new experiences, and reported more absorption in their tasks. “Openness to Experience” often came before inspiration, suggesting that those who are more open to inspiration are more likely to experience it
Inspired individuals also reported having a stronger drive to master their work, but were less competitive, which makes sense if you think of competition as a non-transcendent desire to outperform competitors.Inspired people were more intrinsically motivated and less extrinsically motivated, variables that also strongly impact work performance.
Inspired people also reported higher levels of important psychological resources, including belief in their own abilities, self-esteem, and optimism
…inspired individuals reported experiencing more purpose in life and more gratitude.
…one should not put pressure on oneself to become inspired…inspiration is not willed—it happens. Knowing this should free you from the pressure to make inspiration happen. This does not mean that inspiration is completely outside your control. Contrary to the view of inspiration as purely mythical or divine, I think inspiration is best thought of as a surprising interaction between your current knowledge and the information you receive from the world
A network is the invisible structure of culture. It is an amalgam of bits and pieces of isolated knowledge in a collection of people. Trust is the glue that makes knowledge whole by holding human networks together. Trust is not unlike the shared electrons that bind benzene or the field theory that prevails upon protons to produce sub-nuclear cohesion. Cursory calculations reveal that ‘matter’ matters little. Rather it is the field of energy that makes brick walls, steel plates and diamonds impenetrable. So it is with culture. Culture is impervious to process changes, change management or reengineering because of its field of energy: the networks of trust. Thus new knowledge will be accepted only if adopted by the networks.
By 2020 the workplace will be transformed by the sharing and development of ideas, according to a study of 3,500 employees, 100 HR managers and 100 IT managers across the UK, France, Germany, the US and Japan, conducted by the Future Foundation on behalf of Google.
“It will be an ideas and innovation economy rather than knowledge economy,” says Future Foundation account director Judith kleine Holthaus, revealing the study finds an 81% positive correlation between collaboration and innovation across all markets. In the UK employees who are given the opportunity to collaborate at work are nearly twice as likely to have contributed new ideas to their companies.
As collaboration and innovation accelerate, thanks to new enabling technologies, elements of the HR and IT functions will integrate and HR and IT roles will shift as they adjust to the ideas economy. HR will need to ensure employees are motivated to collaborate and innovate
Seek control: greed, hatred, envy, insecurity
I don’t know about you, but I’m concerned with what’s happening in this world. I’m concerned with the structure. I’m concerned with the systems of control, those that control my life and those that seek to control it even more! I want freedom! That’s what I want! And that’s what you should want!
It’s up to each and every one of us to turn loose and just shovel the greed, the hatred, the envy and, yes, the insecurities because that is the central mode of control— make us feel pathetic, small… so we’ll willingly give up our sovereignty, our liberty, our destiny. We have got to realize that we’re being conditioned on a mass scale. Start challenging this corporate slave state! The 21st Century is gonna be a new century, not the century of slavery, not the century of lies and issues of no significance… and classism and statism and all the rest of the modes of control! It’s gonna be the age of humankind standing up for something pure and something right!
The truth is out there in front of you, but they lay out this buffet of lies! I’m sick of it, and I’m not gonna take a bite out of it! Do you got me? Resistance is not futile. We’re gonna win this thing. Humankind is too good! We’re not a bunch of underachievers! We’re gonna stand up and we’re gonna be human beings! We’re gonna get fired up about the real things, the things that matter: creativity and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit!

Minds might base cognition on 4d(space-time) representation. All conceivable things are located at a certain place, which can vary with time.
Ex 1: Tools main function similarity can be measured by 3d distance at the same time.
Ex 2:The same idea can be expressed with 2 different abstraction levels, their distances can be measured by the time that separates the 2 expressions from being in the same 3d coordinates in space.
Ex 3: A feeling can be expressed by describing an emotional state, or by a metaphor that represent a similar emotional state trough the description of a scene from nature. Their distances can be measured by the time that separates the 2 expressions from being in the same 3d coordinates in space squared.
Instead of thinking of math as the language of the mind, and metaphor as the language of the soul (By the way what is soul?). Why don’t we think in terms of a single and indivisible entity we can described as mind-intuition-awareness-feelings-thoughts-life-universe.
We can see math as a framework that can be used to evaluate examples like the ones described before. We can only obtain mathematical results from it. One of the many artifices, that are part of our culture.
Language is defined here as something that can be evaluated in isolation from life-culture-society-..-universe which is another fallacy. We live in a complete and indivisible universe(multiverse) fully interconnected. Isolated systems do not exist, everything influences everything else.
All frameworks, which are considered true, limit the range of awareness which allows us to understand/perceive/be/flow-with the universe. They also get us closer to the ideas that we can predict/control reality, which are really dangerous ones.
